That right we caught a 48 1/2 Inch Muskie weighting in at 31 lbs in Lake Superior. The Muskie was caught some
6 miles out from shore and this is the first time I every caught a Muskie in the main lake.
This fish was caught on the Wisconsin side. Don't get your hope up of catching more Muskie out there, many of the Charter Captain haven't ever caught one.
It was a very enjoyable year, but we had some bad weather in the month of May and early June. The fishing was good during that time frame. It seem like the wind was blowing all the time during the entire summer. All people that Charter with us all had a great time and did learned thing about Lake Superior and even how to attempted to fish this vast body of water. Everybody enjoy helping with the set-up and choosing the right baits. We didn't overwork anybody this year. We did have some complaints about arms being to sore. Even had many pictures taken with the large ore or coal ship passing by us while on big water. Some people did get sea sick but in many cases it was because of what they were doing. Hope to see you in 2012.
